Get Uriel's main blueprint by completing The Old Peace quest, then obtain his component blueprints from Descendia or buy them with Maphica from Roathe's Surplus in La Cathédrale, Sanctum Anatomica. The community reference identifies the component drop encounter as Roathe's Oblivion at Infernum 21. Buying missing components gives you a targeted alternative to waiting for the right drop.
Uriel fights through Heat abilities and three demonic companions. This guide covers acquisition and an initial way to learn his kit, using official Updates 41 and 44 plus the community reference checked on October 13, 2026. Build priorities below are editorial guidance, not a benchmarked best-in-slot configuration.
01
Complete The Old Peace for the main blueprint
Update 41 requires completion of the main quest sequence through The Lotus Eaters before beginning The Old Peace. After finishing The Old Peace, Uriel's main blueprint arrives through an inbox reward. Check that reward before spending Maphica on another main blueprint.
The quest reward is the blueprint, not an already assembled Uriel. You still need Chassis, Neuroptics, and Systems, along with the Foundry materials and crafting process. Separating those stages prevents the common mistake of treating completion of the story as completion of the Warframe farm.
Update 41 also describes a Mission Preview route into Descendia through the Update Highlights screen. That preview access is distinct from earning the quest's main-blueprint reward. If your goal is a first complete Uriel, track the quest reward and component collection separately even if you have entered the mode early.
02
Farm components in Descendia
Descendia is accessed through the Dark Refractory and progresses through 21 Infernums. The official update places Uriel blueprint rewards at the bottom of the descent, while the community Uriel reference names Roathe's Oblivion on Infernum 21 as the component source.
That reference lists 12.50% for each component blueprint: Chassis, Systems, and Neuroptics. These are separate reward outcomes, not a guarantee of one complete set after a fixed number of descents. A duplicate component is possible, which is why the Maphica shop is useful for finishing the set.
Descendia's ordinary Infernum reward tracks reset weekly on Monday at 00:00 UTC, with separate normal and Steel Path progress. The official update distinguishes those weekly floor rewards from the mode's blueprint drops. Do not turn a statement about ten weekly floor rewards into an unsupported claim that every blueprint source is limited in exactly the same way.
Check the current mode interface for your progress, rewards, and available difficulty. The published structure includes checkpoints at Infernums 7 and 14, tracked separately by difficulty. Those checkpoints can make it easier to resume a descent during the same week, but a difficult floor still needs a loadout suited to its current Penance.
03
Buy missing blueprints from Roathe
Roathe's Surplus is in La Cathédrale within Sanctum Anatomica. He exchanges Maphica for Uriel's main and component blueprints. Maphica is obtained in Descendia; it is distinct from Ignia, another resource associated with The Old Peace content.
| Blueprint | Community reference price |
|---|---|
| Uriel main blueprint | 75 Maphica |
| Neuroptics blueprint | 25 Maphica |
| Chassis blueprint | 25 Maphica |
| Systems blueprint | 25 Maphica |
The full purchased set totals 150 Maphica. If you already claimed the quest's main blueprint, the three components total 75 Maphica before accounting for any component drops. Those totals are simple sums of the referenced prices; verify Roathe's current interface before spending.
Keep a checklist of missing blueprints and use the shop to fill gaps. If you obtain Neuroptics during a descent, remove it from your shopping plan rather than buying another copy automatically. Cosmetics, weapons, and other Surplus wares are separate purchases that may compete for the same currency.
04
Craft the components before final assembly
Inspect each blueprint in the Foundry after acquisition. The community reference links Uriel's crafting materials with The Perita Rebellion, which means collecting Maphica is not the whole resource journey. Follow the actual recipe for the component you are building, then collect only the materials still missing.
Once all three components are crafted, use the main blueprint to assemble Uriel. This page does not reproduce the complete recipe or a rush-price calculation; verify the Foundry before committing resources. The official Market route also exists for a direct purchase, but no current Platinum comparison is claimed here.
05
Understand the three demons
Uriel's Legion passive provides three demons with different jobs. Catenach chains enemies together so damage to one linked enemy reaches the others. Gulphagor latches onto targets and damages them. Vythelas creates runes from fallen enemies that grant Fire Rate and Heat Damage when collected.
These are active parts of his kit, not decorative followers. Watch which demons are alive, collect useful runes, and understand how their actions feed your next ability. If the frame feels inconsistent, check that loop before assuming a more expensive Mod is the missing ingredient.
06
Practice the ability sequence
| Ability | Official role | Initial habit |
|---|---|---|
| Infernalis | Heat aura, with airborne dodge enabling meteor-like flight | Practice entering flight intentionally |
| Remedium | Heals Uriel and demons, or revives fallen demons | Check demon survival before major engagements |
| Demonium | Sends demon souls at enemies to apply damage vulnerability | Apply it where your next damage will land |
| Brimstone | Charged by demon activity; creates an expanding damaging ring | Build charge through the kit before relying on it |
Infernalis flight uses dodge while airborne. The release notes explicitly changed this from an earlier demonstration that allowed the action from anywhere. If an old video shows a different input pattern, follow the released behavior and current ability description.
For an initial configuration, prioritize surviving long enough to maintain the demons and having enough energy to use the abilities you need. Then compare the effects of your available Strength, Range, Duration, and Efficiency choices in the Arsenal. Change one tradeoff at a time and test the same mission before committing additional Forma.
07
Consider Infernum and Helminth after learning the base kit
Update 44 introduced Infernum, an Infernalis augment available from The Perrin Sequence and Steel Meridian. Its official description adds fireballs, larger volleys from collecting Vythelas' runes during flight, and Brimstone charging from fireball hits. That offers a specific flight-and-rune playstyle to evaluate, not an automatic requirement for every Uriel build.
Uriel's Helminth damage-buff restriction also matters: the official notes require a damage-buffing replacement ability to override Demonium. Do not plan a configuration that ignores that slot restriction. Remedium is his transferable ability, with altered healing and without Gulphagor in its Helminth version.
